On June 15, 1965, R. Kevin Butler was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987. Later, he enrolled in Oklahoma City University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1990, while also being an active member of Phi Delta Phi.
Since 1991, Kevin has been licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, focusing his practice on juvenile law, criminal defense, family law, adoptions, and general civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Appeals Tenth Circuit. Additionally, he received the Foster Care Association of Oklahoma's 2007 Champions for Children Award and has spoken at numerous legal education seminars.
Kevin is married to Ann H. Butler, who is also a practicing attorney. His hobbies include golf and spending time with his two children.
